I'm just guessing, but based on recent activity at the shed, I think it must be nearly Christmas!
Shed opening times:
Monday shedders please note that the workshop will be closed this coming Monday 9th and also the following Monday 16th.
The final workshop session this year will be on Thursday 19th December
The shed will reopen on Thursday 2nd January 2025 for any survivors - hope to see you then!
Mince Pies at the Shed
As a thank you for looking after the School and in particular the work done by our painting and decorating team headed up by Jerry Russell and Mick Gillam, HRA have very generously offered to sponsor Mince Pies & Drinks at the shed for our members.
The plan is to down tools at 11.00 am on Tuesday 17th December and gather in the "small hall" at the School
Hope to see all our regular, old and new members
Christmas comes early at the Shed
We have been on our best behaviour all year and now our letter to Santa looks to have paid off.
Question is, should we open the box now or wait until the big day.........no I agree, lets go for it.
Anyone want to guess what it might be?
We are all going to have to up our game in future to meet the exacting standards of workmanship required for acceptance into the Ancient Order of Shedders
Nice work Des! What's next?
And finally, a warning of things to come!
Richard Cearns has almost finished his latest restoration project - an "antique" clocking-in clock.
Late arrivals at the shed may in future have their chocolate biscuit allowance docked.
